CISO to Skanska HQ

We are looking for a leader who can help digitalize Skanska. A person who knows how to motivate others, and who is comfortable in working with several different teams from all corners of the organization.
In other words: a hands-on CISO, a bright, shining star at information security. Are you that person?

Job description
As society digitalizes at an ever-increasing pace, the demands for digital security and compliance are heightened almost by the day. A reliable and competent Head of Information Security and Compliance, CISO, is therefore essential for a global company like Skanska.

Skanska is a huge company in the construction industry. We are innovative and creative and we don't shy away from saying we want to contribute to a better society. Being sustainable is a no-brainer for us. As CISO you would be part of the IT-team of Skanska, where we proud ourselves of having an inclusive, eccentric, and fun way of working.

We need someone who can ensure that Skanska's IT processes, systems, and services follow existing laws and regulations. A person who knows the complexities of GDPR like the back of his or her hand. A colleague who can issue relevant policies, guidelines, and instructions with ease - and make sure they are implemented.

And then there is the security-part of the job. We would like you to lead the implementation of security related technology platforms, lead the security incident management, and manage the global security operations center. And much more: we like to imagine the CISO as the safe and reliable goalkeeper of a company. The one you can trust when something happens.

Requirements
Naturally, you need extensive knowledge in information security and data security - like GDPR. We would like you to have at least a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent. A deeper technical background in software development and network technology is also important.

It is vital that you have the right experience, preferably from international organizations. You need to have worked operationally with managing information security assets and processes within IT-security. We would love it if you have experience in implementing management systems for information security, such as ISO27002, etc.

But most importantly, you need to be able to think critically, and process massive amounts of information. At the end of the day, it is your fresh and new-thinking strategies that protect us from digital mishaps, security breaches, and other threats.
