The extensive 24-month program combines education and work experience to help shape highly qualified Compliant Cloud Engineers. It is aimed at young talents who are interested in the technical aspects of operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure combined with stringent compliance and security standards. This is a great opportunity to gain real work experience within DevSecOps on your CV and a chance at working with the leading supplier of Compliant Cloud infrastructure in Europe.
If you pass the first 6 months evaluation and receive a full time employment at City Network, then there will be an option to relocate to City Network office in Stockholm, Sweden and or work remote if applicable to assigned role and tasks.

REQUIRED SKILLS TO APPLY:
-Good Understanding of Public and Private Cloud Services and how they are distributed
-Good Understanding of Cloud security & Vulnerability management
-Love everything about Open Source
-Good to Great Linux/Unix skills
-Good Understanding of both Physical and Virtual Network design and management
-Good Understanding of Virtual IT-infrastructure design
-Good Understanding of Automation and CI/CD
-Good or Great developing skills, Python and Java Scripts preferred
-Love working with and in a TEAM

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
-Swedish Personal Identification Number and or Swedish citizenship
-Arranged living quarters in Karlskrona, Sweden

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN (among others):
Operations and maintenance
Public, Private and Compliant Cloud infrastructure.
Different layers of networking, ranging from ISP networking to software-defined networking and datacenter networking.
Cloud automation tools.
Open Source utilisation and contribution
Work with open-source software in production.
OpenStack administration.
Interact with various open-source projects such as OpenStack.
Community building activities.
Information Security
Security awareness and compliance training. We service customers with the highest of regulatory demands and you will be trained in procedures that are required to meet the regulations.
Customer Engagement
Support and resolve common issues and questions encountered by cloud users. You will be trained in optimising your communication skills to exceed customer expectations of service mindedness and professionalism.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Full time 6 months trial period, then 18 months extension to full time employment.
Salary: 25.000 SEK per month for the first 6 months.
City Network has signed a collective agreement with Almega 'IT-Telekomföretagen'.
All City Network employees is assessed yearly through a screening process.
Place: Karlskrona & Stockholm
