We are looking for an ambitious analyst to join our Corporate Banking and Real Estate Client Coverage team in Oslo. As a member of our team, you will have a key role in developing Swedbank’s relationship with a well-diversified portfolio of leading Norwegian corporate clients. The position offers the opportunity to work with a broad set of clients and a team of experienced colleagues throughout the Nordics as well as our partners in SpareBank1 SR-Bank and SpareBank1 Markets.

What is needed in this role:
- Work closely with client executives and product specialists in a team of highly motivated client analysts
- Contribute to develop and pursue the bank’s client portfolio strategy
- Analyse current and potential clients both from a commercial and financial point of view
- Actively seek, develop, propose and pursue new business with both existing clients and prospects
- Be part of client and transaction teams and responsible for;
- Production of credit reviews, hereunder financial modelling and analysis, to serve as decision making material for internal committees
- Customisation of products to be offered to our clients, in close dialogue with the bank’s product specialists / our partners. Ensuring compliance with regulations, including key banking processes such as KYC and AML
The ideal candidate for the job has:
- A strong academic record, preferably with a specialization in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
- Analytical skills combined with a strong practical understanding
- High work ethic, a flexible and commercial attitude and a keen attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and interest in the capital markets and business
- Social and cooperative skills and a team player attitude
- 0-2 years of relevant experience; qualified graduates will be considered
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbally and written
