Do you have the passion and skills to support EY Business Development and our clients within Government and Public Sector (GPS) cross the Nordics by focusing on market facing activities to drive sales and pipeline, as well as develop and support on creating new go-to-market solutions?
The opportunity
You will become a key member of the Government & Infrastructure leadership team, working closely with the Market Segment Leader (MSL) to develop and execute the strategy for the GPS sector. You will work on the strategic go-to market approach for all EY’s service lines - Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions, and Tax as well as the plans for our chosen Focus accounts within GPS. The Nordic Market priorities, growth drivers and Alliances will be important for you to drive.
Your responsibilities
You will together with the Market Segment Leader as well as with resources from Brand Marketing Communication (BMC) drive and build the EY external brand for the GPS-sector. The Client Executive should preferably build his/her own name in the external market and be known for his/her expertise for certain sectors/solutions/offerings. The Clint Executive should take an active part in the GPS community and be a well-known person and role model internally.
The tasks will include:
Solid understanding of the marketplace/industry and competitive landscape to create opportunities by adding value to the clients' business
Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills
Strong communication skills
Strong coaching skills and ability to understand and incorporate multiple points of views and perspectives
Ability and interest to drive new thinking with a focus on digital transformation, managed service, and/or alliance-based solutions
Experience with sales methodologies and tools
Skills and attributes for success
The following experience will make you excel in the role:
+10 years of experience in Senior Operations or Sales Management/ Leadership Roles, Business Transformation, Strategic Sales Planning, Strong Business Analysis Skills
Understand financials, sales processes, and key performance indicators
Master’s degree with focus on business administration, economics, finance, organizational management, business management
Ideally you also have:
Understanding of public / EU-tender processes
Experience working with the public sector
