Client Platform Engineer - Windows

Do you want to develop and operate the future IT workplace for Schibsted’s employees?

Your mission is to create a great and secure user experience for Schibsted employees in multiple countries. You will make it possible for our employees to use their skills to do magic with the right tools. This is done together with several teams within Schibsted Enterprise Technology.

You are part of the User Devices Team that develops and operates Schibsted’s client platform for different operating systems with everything from billing, patch management, software distribution, preventive security measures and providing solutions for our Service Desk to support employees. You have a DevOps mentality with a drive to automate as much as possible and integrate with different cloud and internal solutions. If there is no tool available, you’ll develop it.

You are aware of modern security threats and are up to date in how to mitigate those. Programming comes natural to you and you are in full control of every bit and byte. When things go wrong you like to get your hands dirty, build understanding and do some real troubleshooting and forensics. You like sharing your knowledge with others and might collaborate on different open source initiatives.

Skills and expertise:

Solid experience as a System Administrator or Systems Engineer

Experience with Enterprise Client deployments, operation and development

Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft technologies

Experience with supporting Azure Services like Azure AD, Azure Devops and Office 365

-
Experience with modern approach to manage Windows and Android (MEM/Intune)

Experience with software packaging (EXE, MSI, MSIX, PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit)

Security aware mindset

-
Comfortable in PowerShell and version control systems like Git

Experience with Microsoft Graph API

Experience with integrations to other SaaS solutions, for example ServiceNow

BS Computer Science or equivalent
