About us
The position is part of the operational management and infrastructure team of E.ONs IT Delivery Organization. The team is responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, efficiency and meeting the needs of the organization.
The organization has made progress on implementing cloud solutions, but there is an exciting journey ahead for those who are passionate about the field and want to contribute with their expertise.
About the position
As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cloud solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals. You will provide a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architecture principles and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.
Key responsibilities:
* Support development- and application teams, ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available cloud solutions.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop a comprehensive cloud strategy.
* Provide expertise on the implementation and management of cloud infrastructure.


Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have proven experience from a similar role such as Cloud systems administrator, Cloud systems engineer, Cloud software engineer, Cloud network engineer with an interest in developing as an architect. It is also important to possess in-depth knowledge of the cloud-based platform, Azure.
Experience with AWS and/or Devops is a plus, but not a demand. It is also beneficial if you bring knowledge in infrastructure and IT security.
Due to the many interfaces that will be part of your everyday work, we are looking for someone who wants to collaborate and share ideas and experiences. You will work with colleagues globally and be part of a global context, thus you always see the bigger picture and understand the importance of your contribution in the larger context.
