You will join our Europe Cloud Advisory team which is a key growing business area for IBM, providing Cloud strategy and application modernisation solutions to our clients, setting out the roadmap for moving to Cloud and helping to define the target operating model, enabling their transformation to become agile, innovative digital businesses. Your Role and Responsibilities : IBM is a market leader in Cloud solutions, and we are seeing significant growth in this area as a result of ongoing consolidation, divestiture and cost pressure within all industry sectors. We are committed to retaining our place as the leading supplier of hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, which we deliver to major clients in all major industry sectors across Europe.


We’re responsible for defining and implementing application roadmaps, migration, modernisation and operating models for Cloud – for some of the biggest and most complex integration programmes in the marketplace. You will perform an advisory role working on challenging propositions and for demanding customers. You will need a passion for delivery excellence. On a day-to-day basis, you will shape, solution and sell strategies for complex cloud modernisation programmes, from early client conversations to closing deals and helping mobilise effective delivery teams. You’ll oversee the quality of our biggest programmes and services, liaise with clients and provide expert consulting services.


The Cloud Associate Partner will ...
Serve as IBM’s single point of contact for one of the Hyper Scalers within the Nordics
Responsible for working with the Hyper Scaler teams and IBM teams to develop a strong collaboration roadmap in the territory
Conduct seller enablement to evangelize IBM service offerings around Cloud Value Transformation within GBS community
Drive joint campaigns, business development workshops, etc., to build and maintain pipeline on a 4-quarter rolling basis
Develop and execute growth initiatives by closely working with GBS Account Partners and Delivery Executives
Assist sales teams in analysing client’s business, goals, strategies, industry trends and directions – to recommend appropriate solutions/products to meet client needs
Participate in developing pursuit strategy and teaming approach with Partner account teams
Provide guidance and leadership for high level solution design as needed
Leverage available funding and investments to accelerate sales cycles
Collaborate with Global & EU teams, as needed to align the Nordics growth plans
Effectively manage multiple client relationships/opportunities simultaneously
Exhibit thought leadership in client conversations to develop long term opportunities

We are looking for ...
15+ years of experience in IT transformation client consulting to Fortune 1000 firms, blending general business acumen with competencies in technology and IT functional strategies
Demonstrated experience with large transformational IT change, spanning business goals, people, processes, applications, data, and infrastructure
Exposure with multiple Cloud providers/platforms (IBM Cloud, Pivotal, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Red Hat or VMWare), migration tools and Cloud methodologies
Strong expertise in developing Cloud migration roadmaps and driving agreement across complex organization structures
Experience with large Cloud transformation programs/projects, with the ability to lead and adapt existing approaches/methodologies based on emerging standard methodologies
Market analysis skills and experience with principles of technology design and implementation to guide Cloud strategy development
Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to overcome day-to-day issues in pursuit of the end goal
First-class communication skills – an ability to engage persuasively with senior stakeholders both inside IBM and with clients.
As with any consulting position, readiness to travel up to 5 days a week (home on weekends, based on project requirements), limited international travel if/as clients require
