Cloud Automation Integration and Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an Cloud Automation Integration and Infrastructure Engineer for one of our renowned customer. Our AWS infrastructure team is growing and to be able to continue delivering great result we welcome an Automation integration & infrastructure engineer.

To fit our agile team, you need to be a senior cloud infrastructure engineer with proven experience on designing and maintaining complex IT environments. As an agile IT infrastructure engineer you will have a broad set of responsibilities, as you will design and maintain an environment based in AWS.

The solution has integrations to several other systems as well that needs to be maintained. The system is constantly evolving and growing and needs continuous re-design, automation and adjustment. We strive to always have a modern environment that uses all relevant tools and services, and you will be the pillar we rely on for advice on where to go in these respects.

To succeed in this role it’s important that you have a strong internal drive, is comfortable with taking initiatives and drive change and that you understand how to navigate as a part of an agile team in a large organization.

Required Experience / Competences

- Knowledge of AWS services operations and management. (Specifically experience with AWS Systems Manager automations, AWS Lambda, IAM, CodeBuild, CodePipelines, Docker, Secrets Manager, KMS)

- Experience with Infrastructure as a Code - Terraform or AWS Cloudformation.

- Experience in operational automation, Infrastructure as Code and building self-healing measures

- Security awareness, experience with segregation of networks, systems hardening and limiting communications

- Critical thinking and Problem-solving mindset

- Architecture experience, designing operational environments and continuously adapting them to the changing needs of the application

- Experience in setting up monitoring and knowing which indicators to look for and act on

- Experience in setting up network structures and network components, such as load balancers, routers, etc;

- Experience with systems integrations.

- Experience with Git and CVS branching strategies

- Python, Bash, Powershell, AWS cli

Nice to have

- Experience with changes, change process and work items/user stories

- AWS Certification, preferably on professional level (knowledge more important)

- Experience with ServiceNow and Jira, as they are our tools of choice for handling incidents, problems, changes, backlog items, etc.

- In-depth security experience, segregation of duties, network separation, hardening, traceability, etc.

- In-depth network knowledge. Structure, segregation, configurations of firewalls, routers, load balancers, etc.

- Scripting knowledge, especially power shell

- Understanding of agile ways of working, especially Scrum and SAFe

- Experience in Linux/Windows based environments

- Experience with ServiceNow integration.
