Cloud Developer

Your challenge

Our Software & Cloud team is growing and we are looking for more colleagues in Stockholm and Malmö. Who are we looking for? Well, a person who has the ability to understand the customers’ complex needs and come up with innovative solutions. As Cloud Developer at Avalon Innovation you will lead teams in projects towards finding the right solution that brings our customers to the next level. 

In the role you will develop and deliver high qualitative products and solutions where you act as an advisor within our Department Software & Cloud. You will be an important and valuable part in our business when it comes to customer dialogues and scopening of new assignments. Avalon Innovation is a proud Google Cloud Partner and as our Cloud Developer you will be a keyplayer in our work to continue to build Avalon Innovation as a strong partner in Scandinavia for innovative cloud services. 

In the role of Cloud Developer, you will be able to take responsibility for guiding teams in projects and customer assignments to solve the right problems in the right way. Sometimes you will be the only developer within your area of expertise and sometimes you'll work closely with other developers. It’s the variation that’s fun, right? 

Who you are

You are a driven developer that always strives towards innovation and new ways of thinking. Sharing your knowledge comes naturally for you and you are always looking to develop yourself as well as your colleagues and our customers. You enjoy both working individually but also in a team with others. 

We believe that you have 3+ years of experience of software development and relevant knowledge in different backend languages. You have also proven experience from working with cloud technologies such as GCP preferably, and ideally AWS or Azure as well. Are you not certified for GCP yet? Don't worry we have you covered here through our partnership for easy access to training and certifications.. 

You also have knowledge of developing APIs and have an understanding of microservices and their relevant areas of use. In your previous experience you have worked with a selection of databases where you also have gained knowledge of their limitations. 

Do you have knowledge within CI/CD and experience of Infrastructure as Code and IoT? Awesome, we are more than happy to have you on our team. If you also have experience with Containerization and management we are jumping high. Do you have all of the above, or none, but relevant experience just outside of the famous box?
