At Scania R&D, within the Connected System unit, we work with the future's sustainable transport system and the connected vehicle. Our responsibility is to ensure that data from the vehicles can be used by the various connected services, to generate as much customer value as possible. You get a key role in shaping tomorrow's connected transport system. 

Your work assignment 

We are now looking for an experienced SW Developer to strengthen our team, that is working with backend development in AWS (Amazon Web Services) for the Connected Diagnostic Information services and applications. Diagnostic Data is used both in Scania services in workshops and for uptime contracts. Diagnostic Data is also used for R&D analytics, to further enhance our products. 

The role includes a lot of Scania cross functional work, to get requirements and align implementations, with other Scania SW development teams.

Your Profile

As a person, you are pragmatic and communicative, with a genuine technical interest. You are goal-oriented and like challenges. You have a high quality focus and like to be at the forefront. 

You are an experienced SW Developer and you have worked with backend development (C#, Python e t c ) and with Cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) development.

You have an academic education at university level in engineering physics, electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent work experience. You communicate fluently in English, in both speech and writing.
