JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Engineering Tools manager, you will be responsible for moving our various software build pipelines into Azure and set the strategy for moving tools and labs into the same environment. This is both a hands-on role and a chance to work more strategically together with product managers and software developers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deploy and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines across multiple environments and teams.
Build and Deployment automation using Gitlab/Jenkins/Azure.
Implement automation, effective monitoring, and build-metrics management.
Support and work alongside our engineering teams on the latest technologies.
Main interface towards central IS&T for topics such as Cyber Security, Azure, and Build Environments.
Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments
Ability to drive to goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical related field.
Certification on Azure services as a solution architect is preferred.
Knowledge of software programming languages (C#, C++, Java, JavaScript).
Understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
Experience with Git.
Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills.
You demonstrate strong communication skills, efficiency, and an ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps, Ansible, Puppet and Jenkins Pipeline
