Cloud and DevOps CoE is part of the 1 000+ people strong If IT organization and are currently looking for a highly qualified and motivated DevOps Engineer.
About the role
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer you would support multiple teams, throughout the whole organization, with operations and development of applications running mainly on Azure cloud resources. The job will encourage you to help improve efficiency and eliminate waste for our dev teams, from a Center of Excellence that supports If development across the entire organization.
You’ll do this by providing guidelines and good practices, setting standards, and creating consumable products/paved roads when it comes to CI/CD, build/release pipelines and various other aspects of DevOps. All with the goal of creating an environment in which our development teams can thrive.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you are a team player and are happy to work in a transparent and highly communicative/collaborate manner. You engage in system thinking, focusing on solving not only the immediate problem for our customers, but also how to improve the situation on a larger scale for the entire organization.
You have worked in a similar environment and have a full appreciation of the agile and DevOps (cultural and technological) ways of working. You have a strong drive to automate or give reasons not to. Infrastructure-as-a-code is an essential way of working for you. You will also require excellent verbal communication skills; able to articulate clearly to team members during agile ceremonies.
You also have
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Software Engineering, relevant professional experience can compensate for formal background
Deep knowledge of cloud-based technologies
Experience in setting up build and release pipelines
Experience with setting up, automating, and improving various aspects of the DevOps cycle, including but not limited to CI/CD
Experience as a developer in an agile context

In addition to this, we also see that you have experience with working with test environments/test data/QA tools. You also have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. If you have basic knowledge on networking and DevSecOps/Securit, it is an advantage.
