The Cloud team is a part of the Technology organization at Volvo Autonomous Solutions. We design the solutions of the future including connectivity, teleoperation, cybersecurity and cloud services for autonomous traffic, fleet and productivity management. ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are eager to get to know an enthusiastic and devoted system thinker who will define the architecture for the cloud domain in our autonomous customer solutions. The domain covers the site management system, cloud and edge setup, microservices and also our connectivity and teleoperation solution. You will take part in all life cycle phases, from early specification and development throughout the maintenance and quality phases during customer operation. You interact closely with colleagues in other Volvo business areas and engage in exciting collaborations with suppliers and partner universities and companies.


You will be working together with our super skilled development teams and the architects from other domains so the end product will definitely be created as a joint team effort. Thus you very much enjoy being at the heart of things keeping our total solution together. You probably have a background either in cloud computing, programming or system design of electrical and embedded systems and you love taking a holistic approach in bringing submodules together to a beautiful whole.


You are an open and creative person with a can-do attitude. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and you either speak Swedish or you are eager to learn a new language. In any case, you love being part of a dynamic, diverse and fun team so you will fit right in!
