Our Exciting Opportunity !
Ericsson Group IT plays a vital role in the Public Cloud journey for Ericsson. Group IT is building the formal company-wide Public Cloud "Landing Zones" that both Ericsson's business areas as well as IT organizations can use for their consumption of cloud services. We are also moving the majority of our Enterprise IT applications to the Public Cloud.
We want to grow our organization that works with Public Cloud platforms and have already established Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) teams to increase our efficiency in developing and releasing new capabilities and services. We also want to create an organization characterized by expert knowledge, business value outcome, and innovation.
We are now looking for a AWS Cloud Engineer to join our AWS product team!
You will
Drive the design and architecture of, and build key capabilities in the Ericsson AWS landing zone. For example, build automated provisioning and deployment of Cloud infrastructure, services and applications.
Ensure that all resiliency, observability, supportability, security and operational readiness requirements are met
Implement DevOps standard methodologies and technologies.
Act as a Cloud SME and point of contact for application teams.
Contribute to the Ericsson Enterprise cloud strategy
Develop design guidelines, guard rails and standard methodologies.
Actively engage in the Ericsson Public Cloud Community.
To be successful in the role you must have
Proven experience of using AWS cloud technologies and delivering Cloud solutions at scale, preferably with a focus on security or networking.
Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using e g AWS CloudFormation, AWS ADF and AWS StackSets.
Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or a related technical field.
Knowledge of and experience working with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps.
Good communication skills and ability to engage and interact with colleagues and internal customers at all levels e g understanding their requirements and needs.
Additional Requirements
AWS Certification is desirable
It is desirable with competence in general IT infrastructure capabilities such as network, compute and storage to better understand migration and hybrid scenarios.
