Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to implement OpenShift as a platform for their applications and be part of agile development and delivering concrete business value.
What you'll do:
• Automate deploy of OpenShift cluster and onboarding of new applications with Python, Terraform, Gitlab and ArgoCD in Azure and "onprem".
• Monitoring OpenShift with Elasticsearch and Kibana, automate the creation of team dashboards for metrics and logs. Implement and automatic backup of OpenShift with Velero.
• Assist development teams with application setup and debugging around OpenShift and GitOps.
• Defining technical direction for Cloud migrations and managing the implementation and technical solutions.
• Building, upgrading, maintaining the performance Databases, management and improvement of existing tools, and establishing new automation.
• Developing automated code and infrastructure deployment (CICD) pipelines using as code (Terraform and Ansible) scripts and Infrastructure as Code templates.
• Creating documentation to aid in knowledge management efforts within cloud services and provide training.
• Multitask and prioritize work requirements, aligned with Product Owner requirement.
Who you are:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experienced at working within agile development practices and teams that use collaboration tools such as Azure, ArgoCD.
• Technological experience with Scripting (bash/python), Terraform, Elasticsearch/Kibana and OpenShift alternatively Kubernetes (main chore).
