As you can imagine, keeping track of over 1000 000 connected assets rolling around the world is indeed a challenge. Due to the massive increase in demand for our world class connected vehicle solutions we have a great opportunity for another Cloud Engineer to join our (Hybrid Infrastructure Management) team. This is a new team and alongside the other enthusiastic and skilled team members you will be working with the latest AWS technologies focusing on developing and delivering a smooth, automated rollout of our cloud environments and services globally.

Key Responsibilities
Working with the team and other stakeholders to identify, document and implement the most optimal cloud-based infrastructure and services
Ensure service performance and uptime whilst maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design
Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
Continuous search for improvements in automation, efficiency and reliability etc.
Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues to help build their cloud skills and knowledge
Competence Profile & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant experience
2+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions
Competent in Linux and scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python)
Familiar with containerization
Keen interest in industry trends and best practices - able to identify the relevant tracks
Good time management skills with the capability to prioritize, develop, document and support as needed
Good-to-have experience
Cloud Certifications
Specific knowledge of AWS Services is a strong advantage
Experience of micro-component architectures
Experience with workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
Working on 24/7 production environments
