Our Exciting Opportunity
We are a newly formed organization within Business Unit Networks, and through our passion for virtualized RAN solutions, we aim to work closely with our customers.
We try to accelerate the product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge the established flow with new methodologies and are active in the open-source communities.
Full stack virtualization of the 5G NR CU and DU
CRAN & DRAN configurations
COTS HW including L1 accelerators
Cloud Native infrastructure
Open interfaces (e.g F1, X2/Xn, A1, 01, …)
Architecture for automation, AI and machine learning
You will
Be actively engaged in the architecture definition and proactively drive the implementation of baseband and scheduler functions, in particular:
Be able to deliver scalability, resilience and performance by taking full advantage of the evolving architecture and services inherent to a Cloud Native Platform
Strive for delivery of product and test code that improves the advantages of a DevOps infrastructure
Foster a systematization and implementation that enable rapid feature velocity in a Standalone and Hybrid network environment
To be successful in the role you must have
Experience with the development of radio baseband functions
Experience working with Cloud Native core design principles – microservices, containers, pods, Kubernetes platform
Experience developing through the Cloud Native Development Pipeline principles and tools – CI/CD (DevOps), Jenkins, Spinnaker is a valuable asset
A new way to problem solving
Good Communication and Presentation skills
A collaborative mindset and be phenomenal teammate
5-6 years of work in wireless embedded SW and/or Cloud Native product development
2-3 years of work experience in functions related to baseband systems development
BSc or MSc level in a SW related field

The selection process is ongoing. Please send your application as soon as possible. The position can be located in Stockholm, Linköping (Sweden), Ottawa (Canada) or Athlone (Ireland). You will be reporting to the Line Manager.
