Cloud Native 5G RAN - L1 SW Developer

About this opportunity


We are now looking for a Developer to maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions). Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.


What you will do


Drive strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
Develop and test high quality products
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in technical domain



You will bring


The ability to develop and deploy embedded type of SW, on a COTS HW. (COTS meaning x86, AMD, GPU or other HW, which can be deployed in a Cloud environment.)
In addition, we value knowledge and experience in 5G and 4G wireless communication e.g. 3GPP specifications, signal processing, RF or air interface measurements, multi-core DSP processor programming in a real-time environment and design patterns in an embedded environment.
Deep understanding of Linux, and how to use DPDK and smart Network Interface cards (smart NIC) as a mean to optimize the data processing path.
Experience working with Cloud Native core design principles – microservices, containers, pods, Master/worker nodes is a strong asset
Experience developing through the Cloud Native Development Pipeline principles and tools – CI/CD (DevOps), Jenkins, Spinnaker is a strong asset.
An innovative mentality and collaborative approach.
Good communication and presentation skills.
BSc or MSc degree in a SW related field.
