Cloud Native System Tester (650708)

Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior System Tester at Ericsson Sweden where you get to work with a team of highly motivated engineers in delivering Ericsson's Multimedia Telephony Application Server (MTAS) features as part of the Cloud Native team. MTAS is Ericsson’s Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) application server for IP telephony and multimedia which meets all vital large network telephony requirements. MTAS is part of Ericsson's IMS solution portfolio!

You will:
Collaborate with experienced Software Developers, Architects and Product Owners
Be the primary System Test responsible for Cloud-Native MTAS features
Build high-quality System test cases based on MTAS feature requirements
Evaluate characteristics and provide good feedback on what can be improved (MTAS code/ MTAS Deployment configuration/ K8's resource configuration etc.)
Play the role of Scrum Master in addition to the System Testers role within the development team
Report to the manager of MTAS Development Unit


To be successful in the role you must have:
Relevant System Testing experience in a software development team
Solid understanding and hands-on experience in System testing with knowledge of at least one scripting language
Hands-on experience with Containers and Virtualization (Kubernetes, Docker, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), VMware, Helm, Open Stack.
Collaborate closely with developers and architects
Proficient in English, written and oral.


Asset Skills or Experience
Prior Scrum Master experience
Knowledge of SIP, Diameter, SS7 protocols, IMS architecture about this opportunity
