Cloud Platform Architect

Our Cyber Security business unit develops products and services to increase the level of cyber security in Saabs portfolio. The rapid ongoing digitalization demands continuously improved and updated cyber security capability and data protection to maintain the privacy, integrity and availability of data and systems.

We develop a secure cloud based platform that takes full advantage of the benefits of virtualization without compromising cyber security including tool chains that enables continuous compliance with high release velocity.



Your role

As a cloud platform architect you are expected to take responsibility and drive overall system architectural questions, document solutions and decisions. You will actively survey the open source community for solutions to our challenges while balancing the need for stability in the implementation. The platform you will be developing implements heavy security measures within authentication, encryption, and audit mechanisms, but also serves as an efficient platform for high velocity in large scale product development.



This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

Your profile

To be successful in this role you need knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, containers, hypervisors, micro-services and scaling network solutions through software defined networks.

We expect you to challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives, and drive new initiatives. We are striving to be on the absolute front regarding new technology and if you are as passionate about open cloud solutions as we are we would like you to join our team.


Relevant university degree:

* Master's degree in Computer Science or other equivalent background



Relevant knowledge of:

* Security frameworks (eg. KSF 3, NIST)
* Security measures (eg. encryption, certificates, audit logging, two factor authentication, …)
* Virtualization and containerization techniques and tools
* DevOps techniques and tools
* Storage solutions
* Agile method



What you will be a part of

You will be a part of one of our development teams building a robust, secure, continuous integration, delivery and deployment platform, but you will also collaborate and drive dialogue with open source project communities.
