About this Opportunity
We are looking for a flexible and passionate DevOps architect who will actively participate in creating the Cloud RAN DevOps delivery offering from scratch.
This implies analysis of the different offerings, enhancement of the infrastructure, analysis of the KPIs and continuous interaction with micro-service teams leading to the overall improvement of the Solution.

We accept the cloud-native principles to deliver our product with decreased time to market, operational costs, better customer experience and increased organizational efficiency. The DevOps offerings are based on Cloud RAN solutions. And the DevOps Delivery team will have complete end-to-end responsibility for the operability of those commercial customer solutions.

What will you do
Develop, maintain, and operate the service infrastructure vital for a high-quality DevOps offering
Network, scaling, performance tuning and solving while working with the outstanding local and global teams
Create any assets, tools, documentation, standard processes and software adaptations vital to support the business
Work with a team of highly skilled Architects, Integrators and Developers end-to-end responsible to orchestrate the customer DevOps offering
Work very close to the PDU with embedded development and support teams and Drive the serviceability and use-ability of the offering.
Explore the different types of deployment both on private and public cloud and enable accurate monitoring and feedback loops for 24/7 operations


You will bring
Passion to work hands-on with the latest DevOps and Cloud technologies
Knowledge of the DevOps domain, preferably in the large scale and Telco software solutions
Have a service-minded orientation and ability to create a collaborative environment
Have the relevant technical knowledge to lead a domain and build trust in the organization to drive it in a good direction.
Have a passion for identifying new solutions and ways of working.
Grasp market development and understand customer and competitor situations.
Thrive when you engage with customers and collaborate with Ericsson and partner's teams.
Have outstanding communication skills, especially in the customer dimension, where you are accurate and to the point, with the ability to stand steady and work through issues with key stakeholders
Adopt technical innovation and be part of a technically fit organization, and have Knowledge and experience in cloud deployments of multiple cloud stacks, including HCPs
Flexible in approaches to solutions and self-driven


Additional Requirements
Experience in operating base infrastructure and k8s clusters in cloud environments
Strong problem-solving skills, automation and programming
Linux system administration and network administration
Multi Data centre management, replication, scaling and performance tuning
Metrics and monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Node exporter, BBE) – writing operational tools and integrating/adapting open-source tools
Familiar with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Deployment tooling
Release engineering and release management experience is a plus
Experience in software design and development for complex platforms
Experience with open-source and proprietary cloud and virtualization technologies (VMWare, OpenStack, Azure, AWS, GCP, RHV/Ovirt etc.)
Comfortable with Python, Java, Ansible, bash scripts, etc.
Experience with Git, GitLab, Docker, Rancher, Jenkins, ELK, Spinnaker, GitOps
