About this opportunity
We are now looking for creative, upbeat, out of the box individuals with strong leadership skills to join our Engineering Unit Cloud RAN in Athlone, Ireland or Stockholm, Sweden. Cloud RAN leads the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native Radio Access Network (RAN) product offering with customer deployments. The unit consists of development functions covering the total life-cycle capability from architecture definition to deployment in customer networks & capability to contribute to open source communities. Security in the Radio Access Network becomes more and more important. 5G networks will serve as critical infrastructures to facilitate the digitization, automation, and connectivity to machines. An end-to-end security solution is key in the infrastructure. We are looking for a team driver to the team working with end-to-end vulnerability management for Cloud RAN products including vDU2.0, vCU, RANS, RLO, etc.
You will:
• Understand and align the business and technical prioritizations within the Cloud RAN security area.
• Act as the interface for adding and prioritizing all types of backlog items.
• Ensure that technical solutions fulfill requirements and secure long-term strategic goals
• Secure plans and estimations related to the product area and backlog and manages deviations across Cloud RAN products
• Proactively track progress and provide status information for product area and backlog
• Identify, evaluate, define & clarify process, and drive improvements and impediments in the area
• Plan the vulnerability test scope based on feature content and input from product risk assessments
• Work close with the central security team to evolve the strategy and tooling for vulnerability management
• Drive automation of all test and analysis activities
• Give the development teams feedback based on findings from vulnerability analysis and test execution
• Experiment and use innovative technologies and methodologies
• Contribute to defining and crafting a go-get team culture, ways of working and environment

You will have:
• Agile project management skills and software development knowledge
• Ability to use latest industry software project management tools
• Strong capability planning and program financial management skills
• Strong knowledge of Cloud architecture, Kubernetes, and product security
• Solid knowledge about Hyperscaler cloud solutions like Google and AWS, and in-depth knowledge about their security functions
• At least 7 years of experience from working with security in the ICT industry
• Security certifications like CISSP, CISM or similar
• Good knowledge about information and IT security
• Solid technical leadership skills with a can-do attitude to make things happen
• Up to date knowledge about SW security standards and regulations
• Up to date knowledge on industry trends for security assurance technology
• 5+ years’ experience developing large scale products
• Solid knowledge in vulnerability analysis for Cloud Native products
• In depth experience from driving automation of test activities
• Excellent skills in driving change
• Experience from using tools for vulnerability testing
• Experience in leading a team toward challenging targets
• Good knowledge in product security and preferably certification as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
A passed vetting is needed in the role.
