Our Exciting Opportunity
Product Development Unit (PDU) Cloud RAN within Development Unit Networks (DNEW) will ensure Ericsson’s readiness for virtualization of radio access network (RAN) solutions and complement our embedded RAN portfolio in order to serve our customers when deploying 5G. PDU Cloud RAN is building full-stack virtualization of the 5G NR CU (Central Unit) and DU (Distributed Unit) based on COTS HW and cloud-native technologies

In this newly formed unit, we embrace a start-up mentality to deliver a product with a great customer experience and increased organizational efficiency making creative and out-of-the-box employees an excellent fit.

In Product Introduction and Customer Deployment, we are growing, looking for skilled persons with various experiences in Cloud Native products. We are searching for people who are eager to join us on our journey to build something truly exciting!
We offer an environment where You will be part of a team bringing the solutions, from systemization to product introduction and release, taking an end-to-end product responsibility. We are now looking for a Solution Architect to join our team!!

As part of your role you will :
Design and Implement E2E Networks Lab technical solution in coordination with Cloud RAN strategy
Design and develop operationally viable demos based on the Cloud RAN strategy based on technical and business requirements
Present and discuss demos to C-Level and technical audience.
Support Cloud RAN Trials Program in delivering demos hosted in Networks Lab to Customers and Ericsson Internal teams
Lead discussion with Customers (Technical Staff and Senior Management) to understand customer requirements


As our ideal candidate, you will have:
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or IT
Significant years of expert level proficiency in Radio Access Network (RAN)
Deep Technical knowledge in one of the following areas: ORAN, Cloud RAN, 5G,
Proven track record in defining complex solutions analyzing technical, operational and business aspects, communicate them and engage with stakeholders and customers.
Self-motivated and ability to work under stress and learn independently.
Innovation and proactive demeanour!
Market insight, up to date with new developments in related technologies and products
