Our Exciting Opportunity
As Cloud RAN Solution Lead within Portfolio Sales support you will be part of the Portfolio Sales support team within PAN , BNEW. You will be supporting MELA , MMEA and MOAI with all qualified Cloud RAN Engagements and RFX support. Your main interfaces would be Cloud RAN Solution Line and Product Line along with PDU and RAN solution Leads and the XFT and MA Cloud RAN SPOCS. You will also be helping build up Cloud RAN competence in the Bid Office wrt RFX support. Part of your main responsibilities would be to instill techno commercial approach in the MA and Bid Office teams and come out with compelling insights and innovative solution offerings to win deals and increase market share profitably.
Unit: Portfolio Sales Support
You will
MA/CU RFX Support for Qualified Cloud Ran opportunities
Support developing customer engagement collaterals: Presentations, White paper, and Tactical and Strategic Sales assets, etc.
Customer engagement with the Business case, Value argumentation, and narratives for Cloud RAN offerings
Align customer requirements with Ericsson products and roadmaps from Radio, Virtualized Platform and Management & Orchestration
Ability to understand customer use cases and needs within Cloud RAN domain and connect it to Ericsson Cloud RAN offerings.
Support Strategic Product Managers with feedback from the market to craft their offerings and boost technical/commercial knowledge in our customer-facing organizations and Bid offices.
Educate internally our Cloud RAN MA Presales Community about Cloud RAN solutions, capabilities, and business values to secure Ericsson sales profit.
Bid Office Cloud Ran Competence transfer and build up
Cross-collaboration within the BNEW Product line, Solution line, Sales and Commercial management team Marketing teams and Portfolio sales support team.
Leading strategic area forum with support from PL/SL cloud RAN
To be successful in the role you must have
Extensive understanding of cloud native technology, including cloud execution environment, platform services, management, and orchestration
Good understanding of Ericsson’s Cloud RAN architecture and Ericsson Cloud RAN
Good knowledge of RAN technology interfaces and operation
Understanding of Open RAN interfaces and initiatives, including SMO
Technical understanding of mobile systems and the RAN market, especially the deployment scenarios and motivations that drives the customer requirements, and the competitive landscape
Knowledge of Cloud technologies and how they are used in other businesses, including public Cloud providers
Good understanding of across Cloud Infrastructure (NFVi), application Layer (VNF/CNF) and MANO (Orchestration).
Good to have RHOSP/Openstack / AWS / CNF understanding or Cloud certification
Exposure to Hardware solutions (COTS –e.g. Dell, HP, CISCO, and Ericsson proprietary)
Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
Academic degree: University degree in Engineering or equivalent. Master of Science degree in considered an advantage.
10 years of relevant ICT experience including relationship sales, product management or consulting
7+ years of shown success in pre-sales, design, and delivery of mobile RAN technology
Consistent track record in building and taking products to market in the Telecom industry
Significant customer-facing experience
Strong business insight
Creative and storytelling skills
Extensive skills in Presenting & Communicating Information, both commercially and technically.
Strategic demeanor, with the ability to span into tactical as needed.
Experience from handling stakeholders in BA and MA
Proven track record from ITM evaluations
Phenomenal teammate with excellent collaboration and partnership skills
