The H&M Cloud and Datacenter area is growing. As we accelerate and soon reach 100% in cloud we need to strengthen our Cloud security tribe further. We’re looking for one more Cloud Security Architect to support the organization building secure and effective cloud solutions using DevOps practices.
Our Cloud area have been named best in class as a Center for Enablement for Cloud by Microsoft. We have been presenting our cloud transformation journey and success stories on events like Microsoft Ignite , DevOps Enterprise Summit and Tech Days Sweden. According to several external reviews we are far ahead of most enterprises in cloud maturity. Given that and our scale, we frequently push the agendas of GCP and Azure. We interact with their engineers and product teams to support our needs.
H&M has had Security on top of the agenda for some years and we have come far, but we are accelerating it even more with several exciting initiatives. With more platforms and the number of applications and 3rd party services ever growing we need to be smarter to handle the complexity and stay on top. Application security is a distributed responsibility handled by the 300+ product teams. But we need to continue building on the central security foundation and make security easy to see, consume and implement for the teams.
What you will do
Find new ways to improve our security posture related to our cloud platforms
Continuously improve the Cloud Security architecture roadmap based on enterprise architecture principals
Review security technologies, tools and services to see what should be implemented in our environment
Work with Microsoft and Google engineers on improvements of their products and keep track on new security technologies in their pipelines
Plan and discuss with developers and operations staff taking ideas and remediations into production
Provide cloud expertise related to security
Proactively review new cloud services and their potential security implications
Share knowledge and contribute to the overall security landscape e.g. during events and using our internal Security Champions networ
Support teams and product owners with security recommendations and improvements based on business risk
Participate in security decision forums on the development and steering of the overall security at H&M
Enable insights, improve visibility and monitoring
Create visibility of current security posture from various perspectives to enable correct prioritization
Proactively work with the SOC a.k.a. Cyber Defense Center to make sure they have the logs and tools needed
Collaborate with the Software Security Team on tools in pipeline and how we can improve the overall security for product teams
Be part of a great team and organization where security is top of mind
Your mindset & skills:
You have a deep interest in security and expertise of the security domain with 8+ of experience
You have 3+ year of experience as a security architect
You have experience with securing GCP or/and Azure
You have experience working in a highly agile environment, we constantly need to reevaluate how we do security to stay relevant and safe.
You are self-driven and like complex challenges
You have a passion for helping and educating others, you strive to make security easy to achieve for everyone
You enjoy moving between hands-on work on e.g. cloud security config and collaboratively defining enterprise level strategy.
