Cloud Security Engineer for Aerospace& Defense Company

We are currently seeking a Cloud Security Engineer for a consultancy assignment, which will start immediately.

About the role:

Resource need for Our Client´s Cloud Smart initiative:

Our client is in the process of establishing a structured and secure way in which they can consume public cloud services. As part of this initiative, they now need to start implementing parts of their reference architecture to support various pilots originating from the business. They are starting the implementation of these "Landing Zones" in Microsoft Azure and are now looking for resources that can help them with these activities. There is an overall focus on security and compliance with NIST 800-171 as the security baseline.

Cloud Security Engineer

• Designs security controls in Azure landing zones to meet NIST 800-171 requirements.
• Responsible for security in landing zones and overall cloud solution
• Configures Microsoft Azure security tools and services used.

Skills:

• Multiple years of experience in cybersecurity engineering roles, with a focus on cloud Security.
• Deep understanding of NIST 800-171 requirements and how to implement them in Azure Environments.
• Hands-on experience configuring Azure security services such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel and Entra ID.
• Knowledge of encryption technologies, key management, and secure storage solutions in Azure.
• Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies to validate control effectiveness.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate with diverse technical and compliance stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Azure Security Engineer are a plus.
