Electrolux Global IT Solutions team is strengthening its focus and capabilities in the area of Cloud Service. The purpose of the position is to be the point of contact for cloud service provider services managed by Global Solution’s cloud office as well as develop the cloud journey we are embarking on. The role is key for designing the new organization, as well as establishing the necessary platform for the on-going cloud initiatives which will increase the cloud presence in the next few years substantially. Currently the two cloud service providers managed in cloud office are Azure and IBM cloud, but more will be added.
You will also be part of continuous improvement and automation of cloud operations, as well as act as point of contact for functions utilizing the cloud services provided by Cloud & Hosting.
What you will do:
As highly appreciated service manager you are expected be accountable for:
· Handling new non-standard requests through analysis and potential implementation
· Have deep understanding of the technical aspects of cloud computing (IaaS and PaaS services)
· Manage the production and service delivery of the services packaged and delivered to functions outside Cloud & Hosting.
· Automate and or create processes for provisioning of standard demand.
· Managing incoming pipeline of new projects and demands.
· All actions required to design, introduce, operate, change or retire a service.
· Meeting agreed targets for service delivery and performance.
· Adhering to policies and directives for new and existing services (eg Sourcing and Architecture).
· Creating and maintaining service roadmaps
· Align operational decisions and development plans to security policy and guidelines.
· Deliver developments within cloud security and financial management.
· Manage information sharing and creating reports in PowerBI.
· Creating service documentation, eg Service catalog content, support documentation etc.
· Planning and performing necessary lifecycle management initiatives to keep the technical debt to a minimum
· Propose sourcing options for the service according to existing policies
· Acting as point of escalation for operational issues affecting the services
· Creating and follow up service metrics according to agreements
· Creating and following up budget and cost recharging to business areas and teams.
· Reporting, interpreting and explaining any deviations from budget
· Balancing level of quality and cost for the service
· Driving down cost per unit and preserving it by adjusting cost levels to actual volumes
Who you are:
You are expected to hold a university degree in IT and have previous experience in service management role, preferably in cloud delivery with one of big public clouds providers, or within infrastructure outsourced environment. Some travel and willingness to adjust working hours is needed. As you know, this is a fast pacing environment which has already changed our way of working. You should be able to manage multiple stakeholders with different maturity and requirements. You are also expected to work collaborative, thinking strategic but also utilize existing capabilities internally and externally to take us down the target operating model we have envisioned. You are fluent in English and have no problem making yourself understood through phone, online tools or standing on a stage.
· Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in service management role, preferably in cloud delivery from a big public cloud providers, or an outsourced environment.
· Experience and good knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS solution and provision.
· Understanding or good knowledge of coding in a “cloud” native language.
· Preferable practical product knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services
· Understanding of ITIL service managements and operational activities needed to upheld a service.
· Ability to coordinate and manage global changes and initiatives
· Preferable understanding of complex information systems including multi-tiered application infrastructure.
