CMC Project Manager, Xspray, Solna

Have you worked with external or internal outsourcing of manufacturing, analysis or similar within pharma? Would you also like to take a great responsibility for project management of external contract organisations? Xspray is expanding and needs a CMC Project Manager.


Xspray is an innovative start-up with a patented technology to increase the bioavailability of pharmaceuticals. We are close to submitting our first market authorisation application and have more projects in the pipeline.


As CMC Project Manager you will work closely together with the rest of the team at Xspray. You will be the main point of contact with one or more contract organisations within manufacturing and analysis. A big part of the daily work is coordinating & informing resources, technical trouble shooting as well as setting up & keeping track of project plans. Many contract organisations are located outside Sweden, mainly EU and US, so some travelling abroad will be part of the assignment.

Qualifications requirements:

We are looking for you with a scientific understanding of production and analysis of small molecule pharmaceuticals, as well as experience from managing projects with external partners. We think you fit this profile or have equivalent qualifications:

Academic degree within science or relevant technical discipline. A PhD degree is meriting.
Very good understanding of production of pharmaceuticals,
Very good understanding of analyses of small molecules
Very good knowledge of GMP
Experience from managing interactions between a client and external contracts organisations (or internal if you are in a larger, global company).
Very good written and spoken English. Swedish is meriting.


Since this is a project management position you need to be structured and able to communicate efficiently with people from different backgrounds. You are able to create, implement and follow up project plans with the result in focus.
