Co-operative Supply Planners, please!
At IKEA we all work together.Good ideas are put into practice and passed on, not hidden away in someone's drawer. We're looking for people who value openness and want to be part of a team - and who are prepared to give the job their very best!
Would you like to take initiatives and develop yourself? Then IKEA is waiting to hear from you!Right now we are recruiting several supply planners for IKEA of Sweden.
IKEA of Sweden, or IoS, is responsible for developing the IKEA range and making it available to stores and customers all over the world.Expressed in terms of IKEA's three main processes, IoS leads the processes Creating the Home Furnishings Offer and Supplying.IoS also takes part in the third main process, called Communicating & Selling, which is lead by Retail.
Within IoS, the supply planners are a key competence in ensuring customer success and contributing to the customers' satisfaction, through securing global availability of the range.
This availability must be secured for the complete lifecycle of the product from the sales start to the phasing out of the product, (cradle to grave!).
This means that every supply planner 'owns' the supply chain on a selected part of the range, and is acting and taking decisions to secure the availability.
Because several of our current supply planners have developed into other jobs within IKEA, we are now looking for candidates who are interested to work as a Supply Planner within one of the various Business Areas.
Assignment
As a supply planner, you have an important job within IKEA, but also a complex role with a wide scope, which demands different levels of competencies.Of course, IKEA offers an international working environment with challenging assignments in supply chain and a dedicated team providing coaching and support.

- securing global availability on their product ranges
