Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Cognos Controller to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Configure, set up, and maintain IBM Cognos Controller for group accounting and consolidation purposes.
Provide technical expertise in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and IBM Financial Analysis Publisher (FAP).
Support consolidated accounting, consolidation, analysis, and reporting activities.
Assist in the technical setup and integration of IBM Cognos Controller and related systems.
Offer system administration support and guidance, including system technicians and administrators, through phone, email, and Teams communication channels.
Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IBM Cognos Controller, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), and IBM Financial Analysis Publisher (FAP).
Collaborate with the client’s existing competence in consolidated accounting and Windows servers, filling gaps in expertise regarding IBM Cognos Controller and related components.
Work independently to address issues and provide solutions in areas where deeper competence is required.

What You Bring:
Substantial experience in configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting IBM Cognos Controller for group accounting and consolidation.
Proficiency in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and IBM Financial Analysis Publisher (FAP).
Strong knowledge of consolidated accounting, consolidation processes, financial analysis, and reporting.
Technical expertise in the setup and integration of IBM Cognos Controller and related systems.
Ability to provide efficient and effective technical support to system technicians and administrators through various communication channels.
Solid system administration skills.
General competence in common operating systems and workplace equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred:
Relevant certifications in IBM Cognos Controller, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), or IBM Financial Analysis Publisher (FAP).
Experience with integrations to and from IBM Cognos Controller and related systems.
Knowledge of database management and SQL.
Familiarity with IBM Cognos Controller administration tools.
Proven track record of supporting large organizations in a similar capacity.
