Job Description


As Collection Manager you will be responsible for the local relevance offer, setting visions and targets to optimize sales and profitability in both the short and long terms. Your key objective is to identify local needs that can make a big difference, and lead your team to develop and secure the local 360 customer offer in close collaboration with commercial teams and the regions.
The role encompasses a significant leadership responsibility in both Stockholm and Shanghai with 10 direct reports, some being team leaders of their own. Leading a team of designers, controllers, planners, product developers, product managers and pattern makers – your role is to prioritize while inspiring, develop while clarifying expectations.
Additional responsibilities include:
Being responsible for the collections’ customer and competitor focus
Together with business controller set strategy for budget on department level
Constantly review the global assortment and act on local needs and opportunities, new tendencies and sales
Cross-collaborate to strengthen the customer offer and contribute to the development agenda for the overall assortment
Taking an end-to-end responsibility for the strategy that runs from design, purchasing, to production and regions





Qualifications


Strong influencing and collaborative skills are must-haves for this role. Moreover, a premium is put on previous experience from sales, commercial planning or customer experience. Working with customer offering in a 360 way or with omni channels are strong benefits as is background from collection/fashion/product development or the likes.
