The Content Optimization and Studio team - let’s introduce ourselves
The Content Optimization and Studio team is responsible for content activated in paid media channels and across volvocars.com. Our team consists of graphic designers, copywriters, planners, content optimization specialists and website content managers.
We are a global team of highly talented individuals who share a passion to change the world. We work in close collaboration across empowered global teams that don’t settle for anything less than excellence. The role provides you the opportunity to lead the strategic direction and roadmap for our biggest .com initiatives and help identify and define the global marketing content deliverables needed to execute on that mission.
.com Project Manager - this is what you´ll do
In this role, you will set the strategic direction for bigger .com initiatives for marketing. As the .com Project Manager you will own and lead the global marketing & brand .com brief, discovery and strategy phase together with our .com partners.
You will identify the marketing & brand deliverables and content needs. You will act as the marketing .com channel owner and expert on the global online brand and product journey.
Further, you will lead and be the guardian for online user insights, best practices, and benchmark with our internal and external partners. You will secure cross functional work together with our colleagues at the digital teams, UX and marketing.
You will also ensure and secure hand over to operational .com project leads for copy and assets, once the strategy and scope is set and agreed.
We’re looking for you!
You are an experienced marketer and especially within the digital areas, preferably with a proven background and experience working with other major brands as well as direct markets. You´re data driven and base your hypothesis and strategies on data.
You're highly creative, adaptable and can work in a cross-functional setting with multiple teams. You enjoy a high pace with ambitious targets.
You've worked with global brands, and you understand the cultural differences and challenges they can bring. While creativity and a collaborative mindset are critical, planning and organizational skills are also needed. Most of all, you share our values and our ambition.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or equivalent expertise
• 5-10 years of demonstrated success in strategic project management roles, or as a channel owner, from Brand Management, Content/Product Marketing, Product Manager with a strong focus on brands with a global impact – preferably within a global matrix organisation
• 5+ years of working with online experiences, focusing on the web and leading effective and premium marketing content productions and digital transformation journeys – preferably within a B2C environment
• Tech savvy, strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as used to leading and managing ambiguous, dynamic and parallel projects
• Experienced vendor and partner manager, leading creative briefs, content quality and global marketing productions
• Analytical and data-driven – developing and optimising actionable recommendations for global content marketing strategies
• At Volvo, you will be part of a cross-functional and international team, with English as a natural language, both verbally and in written as well as have an interest in and ability to travel.
