The Customer Insights & Analytics (CIA) team is a central function that strives to provide the H&M brand organization with the best decision support and to lead our transformation towards becoming a customer, data and insights centric organization.
The Commercial analysis team is part of the CIA function and builds on strong data analytics capabilities acting as internal consultants to solve complex business challenges and enable data-driven decision making across the organization. The teams currently consist of 6 Data analyst/scientists and Business analysts and leads analytics projects together with stakeholders cross the company.
Job Description
In your role you will be responsible for
(1) Driving & prioritizing the agenda of the team
Develop a strong network and engage with key stakeholders across the organization
Proactively identify strategic challenges where decision support anchored in data is needed
Contribute to defining and tracking the goals of the teams and the function on a quarterly basis
Prioritize and balance the agenda of the team between ad hoc requests received from stakeholders and internal goals
(2) Leading and supporting cross-functional data analytics initiatives
Define the high-level scope and objectives of analytics projects
Actively lead complex projects and occasionally conduct analysis
Coach and support team members and other colleagues in their projects
Present findings of analytics projects to stakeholders and company management
Follow up on implementation and track impact of deliverables & insights
(3) Supporting the growth and the engagement of the team
Define the staffing needs of the team and secure new talent
Develop the skill set and capabilities of the team
Support the analysts of the team in their development
Qualifications
We believe that you
Have experience working as a management consultant or a similar role. You are highly analytical and a natural problem solver. You know how to break down a problem, when to take a step back and makes conclusions with high integrity.
Have a strong business sense that enables you to tackle a broad range of business challenges efficiently and to coach others in doing so
Have experience working with many different senior stakeholders and find it easy to build fruitful relationships with people
Find it easy to translate business requests to colleagues working hands-on with data. You might have worked with data analytics yourself and be familiar with statistical modeling, coding languages (e.g. SQL, R, Python) and/or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Have strong communication skills both written and verbal that enable you to create strong presentations and share complex messages in an impactful way
Have a passion for coaching and developing others; You probably have formal leadership experience or have been exposed to complex leadership questions thru informal leadership and ready for the next step
Have a good understanding of retail and e-com or experience from the industry is a plus

This is a full-time position located at the head office in central Stockholm, Sweden.
