This is the job
As part of the Commercial team you can look forward to an exciting journey and take part in ensuring our commercial success. The main responsibility for the Commercial team is to evaluate, plan and manage the product assortment. This includes all aspects of range management, pricing and logistics. In other words, the retail team decides which products you will find. We set the prices, and we must ensure the goods are delivered on time, while managing local stock. Moreover, we work closely with Visual Merchandising and Marketing on execiting campaigns, promotions, and general business improvement projects.
As a Commercial Analyst, you will take on the analytical role, ensure thorough data analysis, challenge findings, seek understanding, draw  conclusions, and ensure documentation and communication to the relevant stakeholders. A key responsibility will be our monthly sales analysis that provides the basis, not only for deciding on short term activations (promotions or pricing initiatives) but is the core for making our future purchase of the product assortment 9 months ahead. Moreover, developing our local pricing analysis and process will a high priority.
As we continuously strive to improve our business your tasks may vary greatly in terms of complexity and scope, dependent on your seniority and preferences. However, you will be part of a small team, striving to develop and provide solid analysis for key business decisions, for the highest prioritized business projects, collaborating across functions and with management.

This is you
We are looking for a committed and ambitious colleague who is eager to develop. First of all, you must be a strong and structured commercial analyst with a solid analytical background from e.g. controlling or commercial analysis. Besides easily managing, structuring and analyzing large
amount of data, you also challenge your findings and communicate conclusions in timely and professional deliveries. Secondly, to thrive in the position, you must have a natural curiosity for understanding the business in detail as this is key for delivering successfully.
Our candidate has a relevant business education and 1+ years of experience from similar positions in controlling, commercial analyst, business analysis or has been exposed to various commercial projects in a large company or business development function. You are a strong communicator, an experienced user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), and proficient in English, both orally and in writing, and preferably in a Nordic language as well.
