<b>What makes the role as Commercial Analyst at SSP exciting?</b>

We are in a period of change building a new Nordics Region for our business. We are looking for a Commercial Analyst who will support the Category Manager during 1 year to create commercial plans for a category or portfolio of brands within a category. Reporting to the Commercial Analytics Director you'll be placed at Arlanda Airport working across the whole Nordics.

<b>Overall role:</b>

As a Commercial Analyst your main duty is to support the Category management team to create the commercial/category plan for each of the specified brand or brands to delivering like-for-like sale growth, gross margin improvement, and stretch EBITDA target.

<b>Main responsibilities:</b>

. Ensure effective analysis of activities within commercial plans.
. Submit proposed sales and gross margin improvement activities to weekly and monthly commercial forum meetings.
. Support the Category Team to ensure preparation analysis is completed
. Working alongside Commercial managers with new openings for modelling of forecast sales mix at product level
. Pricing trial elasticity reviews.
. Ensure control of product trials is managed and analysis shared with key stakeholders.
. Look for optimisation opportunities.

<b>Profile:</b>

To succeed in this role you need to have a Marketing degree or equivalent work experience. You must have experience of using price, range, display and space, upselling, margin and category optimisation to deliver commercial results. Microsoft Excel expertise skills required and experience in a sales/retail/restaurant environment is meritorious.

If you have the ability to drive decision-making through analysis based on evidence - you will fit into this role. As a person you are analytical, data-driven and commercial with exceptional attention to details. You must be fluent Swedish and English in spoken and written.
