We’re looking for an analytical, data-driven and business-minded Commercial Analytics Manager, looking to scale one of the fastest growing startups in Stockholm- ever. Your job will be to identify market and business opportunities and ensure a strong customer orientation in the key target markets.

Recruitment need
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Analytics Manager to align Carla’s pricing strategies with overall business objectives and business needs. The Commercial Analytics Manager will use extensive data analytics to guarantee that the commercial teams are getting the most out of their efforts, accelerating Carla's growth. You will focus primarily will be on develop strategies for business insight and customer analysis and ensure a strong customer orientation in Carla’s key target markets
About the role
The ideal candidate for this role should have a good understanding of business data analytics and statistical methods to provide insights into business performance, and suggest areas and methods of improving operations. Commercial Analytics Manager is expected to implement and oversee the analytical approaches and methodologies as well as present insights and recommendations to the management team for decision making and strategic planning.
Responsibilities and concrete examples of work tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Build and develop a sophisticated price optimization methodology (based on page views, searches, check-out stats and other relevant data)
- Optimize daily pricing for our EV/HEVs
- Develop a machine learning model for best in class pricing strategies
- Optimizing retail pricing through data
- Defining, maintaining and executing on Carla’s pricing strategies and policies
- Developing and monitoring the forecasting models, price optimization tools and methods of operation
- Creating pricing proposals based on analysis, implementing changes and following them up to ensure a stable and predictable checkout flow
- Supporting business and creating solutions for price management and optimization
- Assisting management with reports, data insights and expert advice in their decision making processes
- Developing best practices, pricing strategies and software-specific knowledge together with the management team
- Key business stakeholder to the product team
- D2C, B2C & C2B propositions and leading in retail pricing, direct revenue, contribution margin responsibility incl. professional lead of a team in the future
Professional experience:
- For an optimal role and culture fit, we believe that the ideal candidate has:
- 4+ years of experience within analytics, controlling, engineering finance
- Previous experience from start-ups or hyper growth environments
- Passionate about using data as the starting point for understanding and solving (almost) any business problem
- Confident in digging into code and understanding how things are working, as well as using tools such as PowerBI to provide insights from data
In addition, you need to have a good working knowledge of:
- Sophisticated BI tools & data analytic tools
- Advanced Excel user
- Data manipulation (google sheets)
- Technical or Financial background is merited
Educational background
- Minimum a BSc degree, within computer science, management, engineering, economics, finance or equivalent
