We are looking for an experienced Marketing Communication Planner who has strong knowledge on how to develop an integrated multichannel Marketing strategy and plan that covers positioning, growth and segmentation strategies and how to implement it on organisational level.
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have:
• A passion for learning about consumers and applying that learning to develop actionable insights
• Knowledge of how to integrate marketing strategy into commercial plans and translate it into high-level actions
• Experience writing succinct integrated briefs with clear business goals and stakeholder buy-in
• Passion for developing engaging communications content to create a unique and preferred position for IKEA in people’s minds
• Experience collaborating on development, production, delivery, optimization and tracking of produced content
• Knowledge of how to harness marketing technology and automation to achieve objectives
• Interest in working across countries to scale big ideas and best practice
As a person, you have ability to direct efforts to achieve long-term business objectives and demonstrate strong leadership skills by using sound judgement to make timely and effective decisions. You understand complexity of business and the role of marketing as an integrated part of the business. You have excellent interpersonal skills and capability to manage internal stakeholders in a high-level business environment.
You have at least 5 years experience working with marketing and strategic planning, including with digital marketing and a multi-channel set-up. You have strong project management skills and can operate on both strategic and tactical levels.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and brand positioning by planning specific projects in the marketing communication plan.
You will:
• Be responsible for writing specific parts of the Ingka commercial communication plan, as part of the overall IKEA Business Plan, together with other members of the planning team and across IKEA companies.
• Monitor major marketing campaigns and measure global IKEA content performance to ensure continual improvement
• Collaborate with the countries, enable unique and meaningful communication content and engaging consumer experience
• Provide subject matter support for country teams, keeping them informed about planned deliveries
• With Learning Developers, help create and share best practice, competence development tools and strong ways of working for country teams
This role is located in Malmö, Hubhult, and will report to the Commercial Communications Planning Manager.
