Job description

Working as part of the Nordic Region Service team in close cooperation with Headquarters Commercial Controlling, the Commercial and Contract Support Manager is responsible to maintain an accurate overview and forecast of the Nordic Regional finances within Service department, creating transparency of the current financial status and Regional Risks and Opportunities. They are also responsible for implementing value driven processes to improve the financial position of the service department and for tracking contractual warranties within the wind turbine warranty periods.
Main responsibilities
Improve existing KPIS and monitoring of critical financial KPIs for the region
Creation of target oriented regular financial reports
Monitoring, regularly updating and reporting of the Financial forecasts for the region
Monitoring of Variable fee and LD forecast for the region
Monitoring of open Purchase Orders Status and Process
Monitoring and forecasting of CAPEX and CAPEX process
Supporting Operations managers with monitoring and forecasting of costs and Overheads in order to stay on track with budget and forecast
Supporting Heads of Service with tracking of Financial KPIs at Country and CSO level in order to stay on track with budget and forecast
Monthly calls with Operations teams to ensure full transparency on financial KPIs
Monitoring of working capital in cooperation with Country Finance departments
Implementing the annual budget process within the region
Supporting Local Operations with Tracking of warranties
Supporting tender processes for Subcontractors and other high volume works
Support with implementation of improvement initiatives and projects to improve financial position of the Regional Service department
Close cooperation with local and central Commercial Controlling
Continuous improvement in their area of service business
Job requirements
Job experience
Minimum 5 years experience with Finance topics in an Operational Environment, preferably in the Wind Industry
Experience in Operational Budget processes
Experience of supplier negotiations and tender processes is an advantage
Experience of collaborating with colleagues and suppliers in various countries and locations
Education and qualification
Formal qualifications in (Bachelor or Masters degree) in a relevant field
Excellent English language skills
Computer literate, able to use MS Office
Knowledge of working with SAP R/3 FI CO MM
Personal profile
Good communication skill on Operational and Management level
Good Understanding of Financial KPIs and P&L
Systematic working approach and problem-solving behavior
Strong negotiation skills
Able to deal with conflict
Strong decision making skills
Willing to travel when needed
