Who are we, and what can we offer?
Volvo Trucks Credit Management Team as part of the Volvo Trucks Business Control Department, is a team consisting of dedicated professionals, responsible for credit management including credit governance, trade finance and supporting export financing activities.


Other responsibilities covered by the Business Control Department are financial planning and performance management including financial targets and estimates, monthly management reports, performance dialogues as well as governance of financial policies and compliance.


In this role, you will represent the credit function in various forums. You will be located in Göteborg.


Key responsibilities
Propose different financing schemes
Work closely with the markets to define needed credit limits and ensuring appropriate management of risk through the set-up of guarantees by using trade finance tools and credit insurance
Keep track of changes in local legislation with the help of the market and adapting financial set-ups accordingly
Coordinate interactions with delivery departments and commercial teams to ensure a smooth process and secure cash flow
Negotiate with banks
Support the markets with credit insurance: discussions with underwriters and claim process
Support markets to set-up credit processes in alignment with pre-defined credit rules and procedures
Make financial analysis and credit recommendations

Your profile
Analytic and structured
University degree in Business Administration or similar
High level of cooperation and ability to work independently
3-5 years of credit & trade finance experience
Excellent in English, both verbal and written
French is a plus
