A day in your life with us
We are looking for a Commercial Development Manager, with the ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of the one IKEA Business Plan as an integrated part of the business, to lead and develop end to end commercial solutions anticipating future consumer and customer needs & wants, based on insights and on siding with the many people. The purpose of the job is to provide more reasons to visit by offering a more impactful meeting point experience and ease of shopping experience. To create and develop our physical meeting into an experience business, together with all our partners, Expansion, Customer Fulfillment and Digital functions.
More in detail you will:
• Lead and facilitate the development of end to end commercial solutions anticipating future consumer and customer needs & wants, based on insights and on siding with the many people.
• Provide a more impactful meeting point experience and ease of shopping experience.
• Lead the Commercial Development team, securing the best solution for redesign and identify possible areas of development
• Lead the acceleration of our store´s transformation by the facilitation between your team and the subject matter expert network, enabling sharing of best practices and collaboration.
• In close cooperation with countries and main stakeholders secure the implementation of the portfolio with solutions to redesign the stores
• Facilitate and identify the needs for new solutions in the portfolio by the follow up of existing solutions, always based on emerging retail experiences focus on customers and consumers needs and our profitability
• Accountable to communicate, map and distribute relevant information between the team and the relevant CoE´s and shared lessons learned coming from the country
• Work across functions and collaborate with other deployment functions, to secure a holistic commercial approach in our redesigned stores
The role is located in Malmö and reports to the Commercial Operations & Development Manager.

You have an understanding and an appreciation for the complexity of IKEA and you demonstrate excellent skills in managing and leading cross-collaboration plans with multiple senior cross- organizational stakeholders.
Furthermore, you can also show proven track record of developing and delivering strategic Commercial development initiatives in a large scale and high- volume global organization. You might have university degree in Business management or equivalent senior managerial experience from Retail in areas such as commercial/sales/customer experience. Experience from other parts of the IKEA Value chain and/or organizations will be seen as an advantage.
