The role will report directly to the CFO and with a dotted line to Chief Commercial Officer B2B (CCO). You will be part of the CFO’s Finance Management Team and will work together with local and global Finance resources to deliver on set goals. You will be a true business partner and support the Commercial B2B Team in financial related matters, initiatives, and projects, having a broad view of the financial health and financial strategy fit of our commercial actions.
The B2B commercial organization is a newly established business area with the purpose to increase the commercial focus and specialize around finance to companies. Today we operate the B2B business in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland providing financial leasing and factoring via partners and brokers, and business account services to IKEAs company customers. We are running a digital transformation program replacing all existing platforms to take us into the future digitalizing our processes and enabling scaling with more products and services as well as potential expansion beyond the Nordic geography.

Your main responsibilities as a Commercial Director Finance B2B include:
• Partnering with the Commercial organization, together with the Product and the Credit Risk area of business, in order to drive business growth in line with risk appetites and profitability targets
• Supporting the transformation of the bank as well as the expansion into new markets or external growth including bank wide initiatives
• Supporting the Commercial area in delivering against agreed annual and long-term financial budgets and plans
• Providing strategic recommendations to the CFO and CCO regarding the financial aspects of the bank’s commercial development within B2B

The role requires that you are an experienced professional who has genuine commercial, strategic and leadership skills to make a difference. We believe that you have:
• Proven finance experience with a full suite of technical financial skills including financial control, financial planning and analysis, capital steering etc. as well as experience of effectively handling multiple stakeholders.
• Proven experience of successfully leading finance professionals and with a track record of developing people.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience of financial and commercial models, theories and practices in the domestic and international banking industry.
• A track record of driving large-scale transformations and change, including investment in digital capability.
• Knowledge of credit risk framework, systems and controls. Understanding of external regulation and their impact on the business.
• Experience from banking, private equity owned or listed companies.
• Interest or experience from ecommerce, fintech or similar, is an advantage.
