We are looking for several Commercial Directors to Sales Europe

About the position
As Commercial Director you will be the primary interface between Volvo CE and a commercial market area of dealer partners in the Europe sales region. In this role you will be responsible for customer satisfaction, market share, sales and profitability and your target is to develop a high performing dealer network for selected dealer partners.
In close collaboration with respective Center of Expertise you will drive and develop Productivity, Uptime and Parts services in your markets. With a high level of business acumen, holistic view and with a continuous improvement approach you will collaborate closely with colleagues and dealer partners to reach the targets.
You will report to our SVP Sales Europe and be a part or the regional management team and you will lead a commercial team of direct reports. This position is part of a new regional structure and we are also looking for your colleagues for other commercial market areas and functions. In total we will be a regional team of around 15 colleagues working together in close collaboration with other Volvo CE functions.
What will you do?
Develop a high performing dealer network for selected dealer partners
Develop and drive strategic, tactical and operational business plans together with your selected dealer partners
Capture full service potential together with your selected dealer partners
Ensure volume planning process is supporting company’s objectives
Drive customer satisfaction, market share, service penetration, volume and price in the dealer markets
Drive product and service offerings according to plans

We expect that you have:
University degree or appropriate academic qualification
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management, aftermarket management or general management
10+ years of relevant experience from the CE Industry, minimum commercially and partnership development
Business mindset and industry segments knowledge
Solid experience in strategy development and execution
Good understanding of the dealers’ operation
Networking and relationship management skills
The ability to travel on frequent basis
Language skills and we appreciate if you specify your language skills in your application
Location for this position can be discussed within Volvo CE Europe locations.
