Sales North is part of Vestas Northern and Central Europe; a Sales Business Unit of Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the largest manufacturer of wind turbines in the world. The Commercial Engineer role is anchored in the sales department but works across multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy.
Working as part of a diverse team we are responsible for sales of high value and complex renewable energy projects in a department with a flexible and open work environment in Malmö, Southern Sweden. You will work closely with various sales managers across a range of projects giving you exposure to a range of markets and stakeholders. You will play an integral role for the structure and costing for projects, driving various internal stakeholders to ensure all deliverables are met, interfacing with transport, construction, supply chain, service and sales.
Responsibilities
As our new Commercial Engineer you will be responsible for providing contract closing and negotiation support to the Sales Manager and handle the contract administration prior to handover to Construction, as well as being responsible for making inquiries to Vestas' supply chain planning to match production plans to sales and project execution programs. Further more you will:
Prepare invoicing to customer when order is received, and is responsible for preparing hand-over material of sales project to Vestas' construction team, and arranging lessons learned meetings
Supervise internal sales process from beginning to the end
Provide support and document control
Prepare and maintain correspondence with customers and update CRM database
Qualifications
A relevant degree in engineering, business, economics or similar
Work experience in matrix organizations and complex project environment
Established administrative experience, with the ability to navigate around processes and IT systems
Organizational and influence skills with ability to project supervise sales team work in a matrix organization
Advanced IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Experience from SAP C4C CRM, SAP project builder, Primavera, JIRA, Smartsheet).
Fluency in written and verbal English and one of Scandinavian languages

Your primary work location is at our offices in Malmo, Sweden
This position requires approximately 5 – 10 travel days per year.
