As a Commercial Manager you lead the Commercial team which consists of Sales Responsibles, Product Communicators, Range Communicators and Communication Supports with the objective of realizing the full potential of our range through excellent communication and sales growth in comparable stores. As a Commercial Manager you will be a member of the Business Area Management team and the IKEA of Sweden Commercial manager matrix, and report to the Business Area Manager.

The Assignment
- Lead and develop the long term strategies for selling & communicating, as well as quality secure the competence and results.
Lead the development of the commercial calendar and launch plan.
- Meet or exceed our sales goals by leading the total sales plan. The sales plan describes the yearly campaigns, sales starts, price investments and launches and how it is commercially executed. To make the sales plan happen you lead people in close cooperation with the retail markets and supply chain. All in order to create customer success and utilize the full potential of our supply chain and balance sales and supply.
- Meet, or exceed, our positioning goal and objectives by leading our product and range communication to mirror our wished position and manifestations in main medias; store, web and catalogue.
- Build a sustainable high performing network of people that delivers outstanding result in the Meeting the customer dimension, connected to our product development process. Leading business and people together!

Is this the right challenge for you?
To succeed as a Commercial Manager at IKEA of Sweden you have a background from a leading role in one or more global retail companies and you have a passion about children and life at home. We believe you have experience from development and execution of strategic plans to maximize sales opportunities as well as the ability to utilize the potential of a strong supply chain. You have also experience of leading through other people and proven track record in developing business and people.
To understand business positioning with long term goals and a unique point of view in relation to market, customers and competitors is also a precondition.

As a person you have a strong business mind-set showing enthusiasm, drive and determination. You have strength in working both on a tactical and strategic level. We think you are development oriented and open to changes and new working methods. You are highly communicative, decisive with great personal integrity in everything you do. You enjoy achieving results together with others and also have a strong individual drive to deliver on time. The IKEA corporate language is English and you therefore need to be fluent and confident in both spoken and written English.
