IKEA of Sweden, or IoS, is responsible for developing the IKEA range and making it available to stores and customers all over the world. IoS is based in Älmhult ? the heart of IKEA and the centre of IKEA range development and Supply chain.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the process to turn the consumer and market insights into conditions aiming to maximize the business and secure that the insights from the markets and consumers is used as input to the Home Furnishing Business Plans.
- You lead the growth development in collaboration with key markets to take full advantage of the range, supply and capacity development.
- You are responsible for the Meeting the Customer assignment in the range and product development process.
- You lead the development of the commercial calendar and launch plan.
- You create the pre-conditions for the IKEA retailer to position, communicate and sell a market relevant offer and create a successful meeting with the customer and consumers in all touch points.
- You contribute as member of the Business Area Management team to the success and development of the total business.
- You represent all Commercial Managers and contribute on their behalf with competence in cross business initiatives and projects.

Is this the right challenge for you?
Commercial Managers at IKEA of Sweden bring experience as a Retail Manager, Sales Manager, Store Manager, Marketing Manager or other senior role. To succeed in this role you need to have;

- Deep understanding of Business Planning, value chain, concept and brand management.
- Excellent understanding in strategic and tactical thinking and proven ability to turn strategies into successful plans. You are a goal oriented person with analytical and methodical skills and a structured approach.
- A broad understanding of the commercial contributors and centres of expertise and a strong background in a leading communicative roles in marketing and sales within Retail, minimum 5 years.
- Excellent leadership skills ? value driven with the ability to lead Business through People, leading through others and influence for change, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact and collaborate easily with diverse people in different situations. You have excellent skills in presenting, facilitating and influencing others and you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
