Job Summary
As part of the MO Sales Management & Customer Service organization, we are looking for a Commercial Practices Manager. The role will drive and coordinate the pricing and commercial framework as well as the global commercial policy and procedures for the for the relevant businesses and market groups. The role will have a close cooperation with the commercial teams within the relevant market groups as well as the Market Operations and 3 Business Units.
In this role you will deliver on the growth of Consumables by securing regulatory compliance when developing new services related to chemical products. The cross functionality of the role will require work in a global environment including close collaboration with suppliers, supply chain and market companies.
The position is preferably based on Europe or those markets with similar time zone. The position can be optionally based in the markets of Americas.
What you will do
The key deliverable of this role is to drive the pricing and commercial conditions related activities, as well as commercial compliance for the responsible markets and businesses.
Drive effective pricing actions in the relevant markets, to support the product deployment, to deliver completeness and profitable business growth.
Drive, review, and coordinate the relevant business cases for the escalations and exceptions in the areas of Global Commercial Policy.
Support the market to build the external pricing communication package aligned with approach of the relevant Global Accounts (if any). Closely working with the relevant functions to secure effective pricing implementation.
Monitor the execution and delivery of the planned pricing actions, follow up the realization of the relevant business case.
Drive the commercial practices competence development for the relevant organizations; facilitate and deliver commercial compliance trainings and workshops.
Participate in the market reviews and support the relevant markets to close all the gaps from the market reviews and CPR audits timely.
Drive excellence of the customer files in the relevant markets
Drive the contract templates and Business Critical Terms in the relevant markets
Support annual global commercial policy update.
Support the relevant market related to Control self-assessment, Risk management and management declaration related to Global Commercial Policy
We believe you have
We believe you have the following experiences and abilities:
A university degree in e.g. Engineering or Business Administration
Good understanding of the market and customer dynamism, pricing model for the business and products
Excellent analytical skills to observe, research and interpret complex subjects and develop solutions.
Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills
SAP experience is a plus
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
You are outspoken, a good presenter and facilitator with an ability to discuss, influence business insights, ideas, and concepts across various levels of the company. You also have an excellent ability to provide insights with confidence to act and convince others. To be able to deliver results in a productive manner you have a dynamic and capable personality combined with good listening and collaboration skills.
