We offer a position with a great deal of variation, where days rarely look the same! In the morning you may be in a meeting discussing deliveries, variation orders and claims with your international customer. Later there might be a project meeting where you hear about the delivery plan, the costs associated with the delivery and other project related challenges. Further in the afternoon you might be requested to present the latest forecast for cash and cost in your gas turbine project to senior management.

How You’ll Make an Impact

* Being the commercial contact towards customers, partners and other external and internal stakeholders such as banks, insurance companies, tax, finance and legal department and other legal entities within Siemens Energy.
* Leading the contractual and financial aspects of the project and maintaining a good client relationship. You will be accountable for the overall project performance and profitability and represent the company with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
* Responsible for leading the project risks and opportunities, claim management and the like in collaboration with the technical project manager.
* Fulfilling the commercial contract requirements and terms and conditions, cash management, financial warranties, taxes, insurances, hedging, claim management as well as budgeting, follow-ups and reporting.
* The position offers an outstanding possibility to develop in complex projects within a challenging client/subcontracting environment.

What You Bring

* You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration (or another education with proven professional experience within the area)
* You have previous experience as a Commercial Project Manager, Project Controller or within project financing, procurement, legal or trade finance.
* You are a driving force, ambitious and have a good ability to work in a team. You can easily prioritize your work and have the ability to cope with high work loads when such situations may occur. You take great responsibility, are detailed oriented and make sure to deliver on time and with the right quality.
* You have experience working in MS Office. Knowledge in SAP is an advantage.
* You can communicate in English, both oral and written. Other languages are meritorious.

About the Team

We are a diverse team of commercial project managers in three different teams that are working with international projects. The teams have good spirits of collaboration and sharing to support each other in this highly complex environment as every day is different from the one before.

Through our Generation division, we enhance and innovate conventional and renewable power supply. Currently, we're reducing carbon emissions of existing assets and developing technologies that transform power generation applications.
