All about the role:
Reporting to the Global Commercial Sourcing Director you will be a Member of Global Product Sourcing Organisation. You will be in charge of implementing the Product Sourcing strategies developed in line with the Customer Experience global team and Business Areas for Sourced Products, while supporting the local product category organisations to ensure the cost effective, timely sourced and procurement of quality products and their effective introduction to the marketplace.
What you’ll do:
•Identification & Evaluation of potential alternative suppliers within the Asian and European region, closely liaising with Global Sourcing Organisation.
•Driving Sourcing projects and products development projects while owning Product Line budgets and coordinate all purchasing issues with the business area.
•Managing business relationships internally and externally, while actively driving business growth.
•Supporting the Product growth strategy in the given Business Area markets especially for food preparation products.
•Proactively running Make / Buy projects, in order to assess the cost efficiency of internally manufactured products versus the cost to purchase from external suppliers.
•Conducting negotiations with suppliers and place commercial contracts as required by Global Purchasing.
•Ensuring consistent compliance with Product Sourcing purchasing procedures with established Group Purchasing procedures.
•Creating Development and implementation of Product Line category strategy in agreement with the Business Area objective and Product Line Generation plan.
•Developing Strategic Global Supplier Footprint Analysis for the Floor Care Category.
•Working together with Customer Experience and Business Areas to optimize portfolio and reduce complexity on the category.
Qualifications:
•Technical Engineering background, with 2 – 4 years of experience in the Home Appliance Industry
•In-depth international business experience, preferably Purchasing
•Background in Product Management is a plus
•Knowledge of Supply Chain and Quality systems, with the ability to support and effect change within both field
•Capability to deal with high-level stakeholders, both internally and externally
•Strong organisational skills, while ensuring the ideas are converted into deliverable projects and tasks, within agreed and budget parameters
•Energetic, creative and flexible approach
•Ability to lead and influence people who do not report directly
•Willingness to travel at Global level (expecially Asia)
•English language is a must-have, any other language is a plus
