EVP NCE > SBU NCE WTG Sales Management & KAM > Value Engineering & Pricing
The Commercial Value Engineering & Pricing team within Vestas Northern & Central Europe is a key partner to the sales teams in evaluating, defining, and optimizing recommendations in Vestas' value proposition and market capture approach. The Value Engineering & Pricing team works on sales opportunities with value identification, value creation, value communication and value capture activities, translating opportunities into value for our customers enhanced competitive position and improved profitability for Vestas.
Responsibilities:
Working with sales teams on project sales opportunities, competitive positioning, and value propositions
Act as a focal point for commercial value engineering and price strategy development
You will compile and analyse project cost base for Vestas' scope in offshore and onshore wind farms based on customer requirements, coordinate, and engage with relevant stakeholders internally
Forming a solid understanding in technical, operational, financial, and commercial levers affecting a project business case and be able to effectively communicate internally and externally on these levers
Develop analysis on the competitive landscape, pricing, and positioning, and deliver input to sales strategy discussions and capture plans
Preparation of commercial analyses, customer business case, competitor benchmarks as part of the price analysis and recommendations for Vestas management
Present pricing recommendations and underlying assumptions at internal review meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar
2+ years’ experience from a similar position, either within pricing and project optimization or from management consultancy
You will have a relevant experience from a similar strategic role involving value-based selling, cost/price estimation and analysis, financial valuation
Fluent in English
Advanced IT skills (proficient with Microsoft Office Package)
Competencies:
You will have advanced analytical, modelling and data presentation skills
You are result oriented, determined, and able to work self-sufficiently towards goals
You should be structured, organised and detail orientated
Capable of working under time pressure
Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to communicate clearly and concisely
You will have a great work ethic and a positive can-do attitude

Primary work location: Malmo, Sweden
This position requires up to 30 days travel per year.
