Are you a newly graduated engineer or a skilled professional within testing? Candela is now looking for a colleague with experience from testing electrical and/or mechanical systems to our office in Gåshaga, Lidingö. We seek you who are a highly motivated hands-on person with an interest for new technologies and problem solving.
You will:
Set-up and perform the final stage of the production process, commissioning and testing, for all vessels that are close to completion.
Troubleshoot data logs from real-life sea trails and find solutions, connect patterns, and draw conclusions.
Commissioning entails the system start-up, software validation and calibration.
Be the project manager for all issues found during the commission and testing stages and ensure they are resolved effectively.
Testing entails performing real-life sea trails out in the water following a customer acceptance protocol.
Ensure that all vessels meet the quality criteria before being handed over to Logistics.
Review and trace issues in blueprints (electric schematics and CAD-drawings) and instructions.
Review and update work instructions for the electrical and mechanical team.
Document your work according to company guidelines.
Document tests, results, follow standard procedures for testing.
Follow all safety protocols within the workshop and out at sea.
Drive continuous test improvement and process improvements.
To be successful in the role you probably:
Have a relevant engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform on this level.
Have experience in working with and troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical systems, both for low and high voltage systems.
Have a strong foundation when it comes to issue identification and problem solving.
Have a strong attention to detail and high internal quality standards.
Are a hands-on person with experience with workshop tools and diagnostics software.
Have a "B extended" and/or "C1E" driver's licence is a plus.
Excellent English written, reading and oral skills, Swedish is a plus.
It is a plus if you have:
Experience with being out on the water with leisure craft.
